Grace E. Moore, 91, of Nixa, formally of Walnut Grove, passed away, Monday, March 13, 2017.

Grace the daughter of David O. and Ruth (Vansickle) Darrough, was born in St. Louis, MO, on June, 13, 1925.  Grace married Robert Hawk on September 11, 1943, they enjoyed 19 years together before Robert's passing in 1962.  On August 15, 1970, Grace married Kenneth G. Moore.  They were privileged to share 15 years together before Kenneth's passing in 1985.

Grace loved St. Louis Cardinal baseball.  She looked forward to the start of Spring training every year. When Grace wasn't watching a ball game during the summer, she also enjoyed watching professional golf.  Family was most important to Grace.  She enjoyed spending time with them, but her grandchildren were the absolute light of her life.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; her brother, Raymond; her sister, Ruth; and a granddaughter, Carrie.

Grace is survived by children, Linda (Hawk) Snider and husband Jason; Robert Hawk; Sharon (Hawk) Hunter and husband Morgan; grandchildren, Gena McGill, Michael Snider; her brothers, Ralph Darrough, Llyod Darrough, and Fred Darrough; other family and many friends.

Graveside services will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00AM in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Greene Lawn Cemetery and may be left at the funeral home.
