Harold Mills 88, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at James River Nursing Home. Harold was born July 30, 1934, to Wayne & Edith Mills of Everton, MO.

After graduating, Harold went to work at Boeing Aircraft, Wichita, KS until closing. He then came back to Springfield and went to work at French Mustard Plant, (now Rickett-Benckiser) where Harold retired.

Harold met and married Helen Sparks and had 51 years of marriage when she passed away in 2013. Harold & Helen enjoyed friends, family, fishing, card games, watching sports, and taking drives. Harold moved to assisted living at Creekside in 2014 and then moved to James River Nursing Home in 2021 to skilled.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife Helen, parents Wayne & Edith Mills.

Harold is survived by stepson, Junior Estell, Whicita, KS; sisters, Vola Davison-Prince of Grapevine, TX, and Carol Tuck of Nixa, MO; and several other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be 1:00PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Shiloh Cemetery, Everton, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to American Heart Association.
