Harriett F. McCall, 95 of Willard passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020.

Harriett was born on October 17, 1924, in Cave Springs, MO to Venus and Etta May (Chandler) Hayden. Harriett and Arthur McCall were united in marriage on July 17, 1942 and were privileged to share over 48 years together, before Arthur's passing in 1990.

Harriett was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Willard High School. She was a hard working homemaker and farmer. Last year, she was honored with the Century Farm Award and was so proud. She farmed, had cattle, and loved to be in her flower garden and tomatoes. She often grew tomato plants that grew to be taller than her. She was fiercely independent and lived alone from over 30 years after her husband passed away. At 93 she was still out mending fences. Above all, Harriett loved her family. She never missed a program, graduation, or birthday. Harriett will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her 2 sisters.

Harriett was survived by her son, James McCall and wife Lori; granddaughter, Scarlett McCall; grandson, AJ McCall and wife Chelsy; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; other family and many friends.

Visitation will be from 6:30PM-8:00PM, Monday, July 13, 2020 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Willard, MO.

In lieu of flowers the family strongly suggests that donations be given to The Arthritis Foundation, 13355 Peachtree St, NE, 6 ^th Floor, Atlanta, GA 30309, or the donations to the Arthritis Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
