Helen Joyce Murray, 90, of Ash Grove, passed away on Monday, April 23, 2018.

Joyce was born on April 18, 1928 to Cordis and Rena (Brown) Lowery, in Walnut Grove, MO.  On August 3, 1946, Joyce and Dale F. Murray were united in marriage; together they shared over 67 years before Dale's passing in 2013.

Joyce was a devoted homemaker, wife, and mother.  She always kept a tidy house, garden full of vegetables to be canned, and keeping her children clothed by her amazing seamstress skills.  She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and planting flowers.  One of Joyce's most favorite things, was cooking for her family and friends.  Her angel food cake and peanut brittle were always a crowd favorite.  Joyce loved her family and her devotion to them never wavered. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Joyce is survived by her loving family; two daughters, Connie Stacey and husband Mike, Peggy Owen and husband Doug all of Ash Grove; 4 grandchildren, Cory Stacey and wife Beth, Cody Stacey and wife Tina, Piper Leigh and husband Wesley, and Parker Owen; 7 great grandchildren, Connor, Presley, Caleb, Chase, Allie, Cailyn, Olivia; a special niece, Cindy Richards; nieces and nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Christine North, and three brothers, Cordis Lowery, Wimp Lowery, Dr. B.E. Lowery.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.  Graveside services will be Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00AM at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Oxford Hospice and can be left at the funeral home.
