Helen "Gail" Patton, 79 of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born on October 15, 1943, in Henderson, TN, to Earl and Freda Gardner. On June 11, 1961, Gail and Larry Steeley were married and to this union two sons were born.

Gail enjoyed attending Springfield Cardinal games and she also enjoyed the big birds as well. She loved traveling, especially to Europe, but regretted she never made it to Paris. She was also an avid Elvis fan. Gail adored her family and spending time with them, especially her children and grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her.

Gail is survived by her sons, David Steeley and wife Joan, Mark Steeley; grandchildren, Troy Steeley, Matthew Steeley, Shane Steeley, Shanda Steeley; great grandchild, Gabriel Steeley; sister, Anna Freeman; brother, Glen Gardner and wife Betty; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dan Gardner.

The family will host a memorial service at 1:00PM, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Ash Grove Christian Church.
