Horace Gayle Causey, 77, of Walnut Grove, passed away, on Tuesday, July 18, 2017.

Gayle, the son of David Dewitt and Nannie Estelle (Vallotton) Causey, was born on December 27, 1939. Gayle and Kay (Long) Causey were united in marriage December 23, 1962.

Gayle faithfully served in the United States Air Force, retiring after 26 years of service.  He was also a member of First Baptist Church, Walnut Grove. Gayle will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Gayle is survived by one son, Jeffery Don Causey; one daughter, Melissa Ann Letterman; three brothers, Gene Causey, Mike Causey, and Richard Causey; two sisters; Marsha Brent, and Connie Nunez; four grandchildren, Tiffany Kinser, Preston Letterman, Delani Letterman, and Brooklyn Letterman; One great-grandchild, Hudson Kinser; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Gayle was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Kay. Graveside Services will be Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 10:00AM in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.
