Howard Dale Jett, 78, passed away at his home, February 5, 2018, with family by his side.  He was born September 17, 1939 in Huntsville, Arkansas to Curtis and Pauline (Warren) Jett. He was married to Dorla (Lahy) Henry on October 24, 1959.

Howard was a retired bricklayer, which was his lifelong career.  He enjoyed working hard.  He loved being outdoors, gardening, fishing, and BBQing.  Howard always wanted to care for his family and spend as much time with them as he could, especially his grandchildren.

Howard is survived by his wife; sons, Ron Jett, Don Jett (Christina) and John Henry (Betti); daughters, Diane Rogers (Jim), Patty Hendricks, Valerie Pantenburg (Rick), and Deloris Smith; brother, Curtis Jett (Linda); sisters, Hazel Baker, Evelyn Snider (Carl), Joann Brown, Helen Garrett (Ray), and Debbie Tucker; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.

Howard is preceded in death by his parents; 1 granddaughter, Sonya Brewer; 1 brother, Kenny Jett; 3 sisters, Curtisine Foster, Billie Moore, and Anna Louise Killingsworth.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.  Graveside services will be Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:00AM at Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Barnes St. Louis Children's Hospital and may be left at the funeral home.
