Jack "Greg" Gregory Willard, 77, of Willard, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026.  He was born February 5, 1949, in Fort Scott, KS to Jack David and Glenna Faye (Hendrix) Willard. On August 7, 1970, Greg and Sherry Hite were united in marriage and shared over 55 years together, before Sherry's passing in November 2025.

Greg worked for BNSF for 36 years as a locomotive engineer, a job he took pride in and enjoyed. He loved being outdoors, especially when he could spend time hunting or fishing.  Greg was loving, caring, and completely selfless, always putting others first. He was a wonderful Dad and an even better Grampy, and nothing meant more to him than time with his family. He will be deeply missed but is in Heaven with his beloved Sherry.

Greg is survived by children, Matthew Willard and wife Katina, Mark Willard and wife Amy; grandchildren, Brooke Quinlan and husband Chanse, Blaine Willard, Luke Willard, Anna Willard; great granddaughter, Lainey Jo and one on the way; brother, Paul Willard and wife Sharon; nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents, Jack David and Glenna Faye (Hendrix) Willard; wife, Sherry Willard; and sister, Susie Willard.

Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Friday, February 13, 2026, at Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
