Obituary

Jackie L. Hall, 74 of Flemington, passed away May 19, 2021. He was born on April 29, 1947 in Kansas City, MO to Grover "Cliff" and Vera (Winnie) Hall.

Jack was 3rd oldest child out of 8. Growing up Jack's mom Vera encouraged games, sports, scouting, and shared her love of gambling with her children. As a young man, Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing with Uncle Gene, playing poker, bantering with his brothers, and his least favorite was baseball. He, along with his brothers Mike and Pat, became Eagle scouts. Jack was referred to as "Little Lonely White Cloud" in the tribe of Mic-O- Say. Jack attended South East High School in Kansas City, Missouri. After high school, Jack followed in his father's footsteps and joined the military. Jack chose to enlist in the navy. All 6 of his brothers enlisted in the military and 5 served their country. Following boot camp, he served in The Presidential Honor Guard for 2 years, he then spent 13 months in Vietnam, piloting a lark on the Da Nang River. He was awarded several medals and had an honorable discharge. Upon discharge he met and married his wife, Betty. They were happily married for 21 years, before Betty's passing. They had one daughter Michelle. Jack was a residential and commercial electrician at Local 124, following his father Cliff, Uncle Gene, Uncle Bennie and several cousins. Jack retired after 32 years. Jack had many interests throughout the years. He was an excellent bowler, avid golfer, enjoyed Domino's, books and runs, calling bingo and we can't forget his love of gambling. He found great happiness meeting up with his brothers in Las Vegas to gamble and make his deposit. Jack met Terry at country dancing and they married in 2002. They spent their time back roading looking for deer and turkey, cave exploring, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Jack was very onery, he loved visiting with the grand kids, playing with the great grand kids and giving the bird. Jack was quick witted and had a great sense of humor. Jack is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
