Jaime Dylan
Apollo Blair
April 3, 1983 – April 1, 2024
Our hearts are broken over the passing of our beloved Jaime Dylan Apollo Blair. Jaime was born on April 3, 1983, and passed from this world on April 1, 2024.
Jaime was born in Springfield, Missouri, grew up in the Aldrich area, and lived in Willard at the time of his passing. As a young man, Jaime was baptized and confirmed at Aldrich United Methodist Church. He graduated from Marion C. Early High School in 2001 and worked as a
mason until he began a plumbing apprenticeship. He was a journeyman plumber and eventually a commercial estimator by trade but could fix almost any broken thing and often did – always in service of others.Jaime was a bright light, and his kind disposition made him an instant friend to all he met. He loved to make people laugh. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing at Stockton Lake and hunting morels in Mark Twain National Forest. He discovered a love for travel with his wife, Allison, and along the way developed an appreciation for good food and art.
Most of all, Jaime was a family man. He loved his wife and children infinitely. He lived his life in service to the love of his family. Those Jaime will meet in Heaven are his father, Jerry Blair, his nephew Jake Johnston, aunt and uncle Kim and Scott Crowell, and grandparents Sherman
and Darcus Blair, Jesse Lee and Verma Lea Welsh, Max Miles, and Robert Crowell.
Jaime leaves here to carry on his legacy his wife, Allison, and their three children, Dylan, Lily, and Jaime Bunch (J.B.); his mom and dad, Melanie and Marty Welsh; sisters Amy Johnston and Kristin Blair; grandmothers Nancy Crowell and Ann Miles; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bunch and Nora Greenwade; and sisters-in-law Kaiti Greenwade, Molly Greenwade (Chris Bodine), and Marcy Greenwade (Alex Henderson). Family gatherings will not be the same without Uncle Jaime for Zander, Jordan, Kollin, Keatin, Abigail, Quinn, Jolie, T.W., Claire, Bunch, and Wade. Rest easy, dear Jaime; we will count the days until we see you again.
Visitation will be 5:00PM-7:00PM, Friday, April 5, 2024 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services will be 11:00AM, Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the funeral home.
