James Burl "JB" Pendergraph, 85 of Walnut Grove passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024. JB was born on December 17, 1938, in Morrisville, MO to Jasper Ray and Verda Marie (Birdsong) Pendergraph. He was raised by Berley and Allie Creed from a young age.

JB was a lifelong area resident graduating from Marion C. Early in 1956. He loved crappie fishing and hunting.  JB will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

JB is survived by his children, James Melvin Pendergraph, Cristi Gustafson and husband Gary, Jamie Scott and husband Wendell, Melinda Swift and husband Bill, Misty Pendergraph; sister, Shirley Ray Reynolds; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

JB was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 24 years, Linda; daughter, Cheryl Mackey; and brothers, Vestal and Llyod.

Private graveside services will be held at Morrisville Cemetery, at a later date.
