Jerry L. Acuff, 69, of Morrisville, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018.

Jerry, the son of Dixon and Wilma (Creed) Acuff, was born in Walnut Grove, MO, on December 14, 1948. He was baptized at Oakville Baptist Church on August 2, 1959. On May 22, 1981, Jerry and Kay (Tennis) were married and together they shared over 37 years together.

Jerry, or The Ace, as he was called, pitched for SBU's baseball team in college. He loved music and loved to sing. Jerry adored his family and spending time with them every chance he had. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Kay Acuff, of the home; children, Billi Evans of Ozark, Josh Swineburg and wife Jacki of Osage Beach, Jordan Acuff and wife Nikki of Springfield; 6 grandchildren, Levi Presley and wife Stormie, Mason Evans, Daylan Dean, Caden Jefferson, Jaxx Acuff, Adryonah Acuff; 1 great-grandchild, Finleigh Presley; sister, Judy Cribbs and husband Darrol of Bolivar; brother, Randy Acuff and wife Betty of Walnut Grove; father-in-law, Gene Tennis of Sparta; brother-in-law, Rick Tennis of Sparta; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 3, 2018, from 1:00PM-service time at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO. Memorial services will be Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 2:00PM, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at a later date.
