Jerry Elton Kimbrough, 80 of Springfield, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023. Jerry was born on July 16, 1943, in Wichita, KS to James and Janice (Blosser) Kimbrough.  On June 18, 1994, Jerry and Joyce Gumm were united in marriage and shared over 29 years together.

Jerry loved to tease and joke around with his friends; he was a big prankster. People always felt comfortable when Jerry was around. Jerry loved to tell stories and enjoyed his family, especially spending time with his cousins in Colorado.  He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those that knew and loved him.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Joyce Gumm; children, Lisa Jayne, Leslie Keaton, Michael Gumm and wife Cindy, Shannon Gumm and wife Shawna, Shawn Gumm and wife Brittany; 23 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; aunt, Donna Singh; many cousins, other family and many friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM until service time on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Ash Grove United Methodist-Presbyterian Church. Memorial services will begin at 11:00AM, at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Ash Grove United Methodist-Presbyterian Church and may be left with the funeral home.
