Obituary

Jerry A. Mason, 83, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was born on September 25, 1938 in Bois D' Arc, MO to Elmer and Grace (West) Mason. On April 19, 1963, Jerry and Susan (Fox) were united in marriage and shared over 58 years together.

Jerry was a life-long area resident and worked for Harry Cooper Supply Company for many years. He was a lifelong, active member of Bois D' Arc United Methodist Church. Jerry was an avid fisherman and hunter, enjoyed playing golf and watching sports of all kinds. Above all, Jerry loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Jerry will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Susan Mason; children, Lori Mason Lee and husband Brad, Doug Mason and wife Sherry, Jeff Mason and wife Joy; grandchildren, Mitchell Lee, Mason Lee, Walker Mason, Wyatt Mason, Ashlynn Mason; niece, Lisa Ellingsworth; other family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Grace Mason and an infant brother, Harold Ray.

Visitation will be from 4:00PM-6:00PM, Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Monday, October 25, 2021, at Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
