Jesse Richard Morris, 35, of Springfield, passed away, on Sunday, May 14, 2017.

Jesse the son of Richard Morris and Cheryl (Gilchrist) Ostrander, was born in Iowa City, IA, on November 20, 1981.

Jesse was a 2000 graduate of Culver-Stockton with a degree in business.  He pitched for the Culver-Stockton Wildcats throughout college.   Jesse was an avid baseball card collector and a NASCAR fan.  He enjoyed social media and being able to keep up with friends from college.  Jesse loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.  He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Richard Morris.

Jesse is survived by his parents, Cheryl and Keith Ostrander of Brighton; one brother, Thomas Allen Wilson and wife Janine of Sparta; two sisters, Shawna Lynn Hall of Springfield, Samantha Lee Adams and husband Paul of St. Roberts, MO; Grandmother Juanita, of Farmington, IA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

The family will be conducting a memorial visitation service on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 1:00PM-5:00PM in their residence at 1460 Brighton Lane, Brighton, MO.  Everyone is invited to attend.
