Jimmy Dale Rutledge , 91 , of Walnut Grove , passed away on Tuesday , March 28 , 2023. He was born on September 29, 1931 , to Henry David and Ethel Myrtle (Maines) Rutledge . On May 21, 1954 , Jim and Beverly Stockton were united in marriage and shared almost 69 years together .

Jim graduated from Republic High School in 1949. He then faithfully served in the United States Army during the Korean War. After returning home he began working at Mid-Am Diary and retired after 43 years. Jim enjoyed hunting, watching baseball, especially the St. Louis Cardinals, and he enjoyed bowling. Nothing compared to the time he was able to spend with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Jim is survived by his wife, Beverly Rutledge ; children, Terrie Hudson and husband Jim, Kathy Warnshuis and husband Dan, Michael Rutledge and wife Amy ; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren ; 1 great-great grandchild ; other family and many friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and 7 siblings .

Celebration of Life services, will be part of the morning worship service, at 10:30AM, Sunday, April 2, 2023 , at Common Ground Church, Willard, MO .
