Joe Bailey Hurst, age 33, passed away April 9, 2022, at his home in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on July 19, 1988, to two very proud parents.

Joe's empathetic nature and generosity of spirit was evident in his eagerness to help anyone in need. He was very talented and could do or fix anything. Joe willingly shared his understanding and appreciation of music with his family and friends and introduced them to many new artists and genres.

Joe is preceded in death by his father, Kevin Hurst, who was so proud of him, and his grandparents, Joe and Eloise Hurst and Nelson and Flossie Parke.

He is survived by his mother, Beth Hurst, his brother and best friend, John Hurst, and John's girlfriend, Shelby Lafferty, and his cousins and aunts and uncles who loved him.

A graveside service to honor Joe's life will be held Saturday, April 16th at 12:00 at John's Chapel Cemetery near Ash Grove, Missouri.
