​John David Moore, 58, of Walnut Grove, Mo passed away after a courageous fight with Lung Cancer on January 28, 2022.

John was born on February 21, 1963 in Smithville, Mo to Billy and Judy Moore. He was united in marriage to his wife Teresa on June 18, 1983 and was happily married for 38 years. To this union 3 children were born.

John worked for Overnite/UPS Freight and retired after 32 years of service. John served as a volunteer firefighter for both Holt Community Fire District and Willard Fire Protection District and later served as a board member of Willard Fire. John enjoyed being outdoors; hunting, fishing and farming. Very near and dear to John were his family and friends. He truly loved being in his recliner in the sunroom watching westerns.

John is survived by his wife of 38 years, Teresa Moore. Daughter Alesia and husband Anthony Coffman, Grandsons Peyton and Garrett Coffman, Granddaughter Aubrey Coffman of Willard, Mo. Daughter Lindsey and husband Jarod Rowley, Grandsons Logan, Brendon and Spencer Rowley of Bolivar, Mo. Son Josh Moore of Willard, MO. Mother Judy Moore and 2 brothers Timmy Moore and Robby Moore, all of Holt, Mo and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. John was proceeded in death by his father Billy Moore, maternal and paternal grandparents, Mother in Law Ruby Gunn and many aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be 2:00PM, Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Clear Creek Baptist Church, Willard, MO.
