Joseph W. "Joe" Cover, 64, of Ash Grove, passed away, on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Joe the son of Arnold and Ruth (Bowling) Cover, was born in Oakland, CA, on November 27, 1952. Joe and Mary (White) were married on October 6, 2010.

Joe was a long-time area resident of Ash Grove and member of Ash Grove First Baptist Church.  He graduated from Ash Grove High School and graduated with his masters from MSU.  Joe also faithfully served his country in the United States Navy.  Joe had been an instructor in the English Department at OTC and was currently teaching at MSU.  Joe will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Joe is survived by his wife, Mary of the home; a son, Jesse Cover of FL; a sister, Jackie Reed of MD; other family and many friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 6:00PM, at First Baptist Church, Ash Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Greene County Baptist Association and may be left at the Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home.
