Judy F. Fortner 72, of Willard, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021. Judy was born on February 1, 1949, to Carl and Nellie (Goforth) Hicks in Walnut Grove, Missouri. In 1967, Judy and Francis Fortner were united in marriage and shared over 54 years together.

Judy was a true homemaker. She grew a garden and canned her harvest, quilted, helped on the farm, and was always taking wonderful care of her boys. Judy also enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She looked forward to volunteering at the election polls each voting season. Judy will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Judy is survived by her husband, Francis Fortner; children, Brian Fortner and wife Amy, Bobby Fortner and wife Jessica, Rhonda Fortner; grandchildren, Kelby, Kane, Gavin, Mackenna; siblings, Betty Hall, Norma McCelland, Carol Lester, Danny Hicks, David Hicks; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of family and many friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Barbara Jean Hicks, Katie Morgan; brothers, Gary Hicks, Clarence Hicks, and Gene Hicks.

Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Cave Springs Cemetery, Cave Springs, MO.
