June E. Gilson, 85 of Springfield, MO passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023. She was born on February 17, 1938, in Columbus, OH, to Charles Joseph and Eleanor Dale (Adams) Claypool.

June was devoted to her family and loved them all very much. She was fluent in sign language, she used it as a ministry, but later needed it herself. June also loved her church family. She will be fondly remembered by all those that knew and loved her.

June is survived by her children, Dave E. Gilson and wife Denise, Mark T. Gilson and wife Ann, Jamie P. Gilson, Nancy R. Hasse and husband Neil; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Wilma Rheaumer; other family and many friends.

June was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Gilson; brother, Charles; and sister, Kitty.

Memorial services will be 5:00PM, Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Victory Baptist Church, Nixa, MO.
