June Marie (Gavisk) Tolbert—Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, June M. Tolbert (Gavisk) entered into eternal rest on May 12, 2018. She was born February 11, 1934, in Springfield, MO to Morgan and Nanie Gavisk.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Morgan (Son), Donald (Bud), Bill and sisters, Betty and Doris.

June graduated from Central High School and attended SMSU. In addition to Springfield, June lived in many states over the years while she and her husband worked for the Frisco Railroad.  She began her retirement years in Shawnee, KS before relocating to Keller, TX in 2006.

She is survived by her husband, James W. (Red) Tolbert, sons Don Bailey and Jim Tolbert (Cris), daughter Jan Tolbert Moore (Mike), nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; her brother Jerry (Pat) and sister Nancy (Stan) and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends she adored.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 19, 2018 from noon until service time at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.  Funeral services will begin at 1:00PM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, MO.
