Kathryn Louise Mattucci, 68, of Springfield, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018.

Kathryn, the daughter of Charles David and Helen Louise (Hodges) Johnson, was born in Huntington Park, CA, on July 10, 1950. Kathryn and Michael Mattucci were united in marriage on April 3, 1970 and they spent 19 years together, before Michael's passing in 1990.

Kathryn worked in retail for most of her adult life. When she wasn't working, she enjoyed gardening flowers and taking photos of her beautiful flowers that she attended to. Kathryn adored her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Kathryn is survived by her children; Elizabeth Waln of Nixa, Kimberly Mattucci-Salazar and husband Jesus of Kansas City; sisters, Tina Marie Walling of Springfield, Glenda Oparnico and husband Mike of Walnut Grove; grandchildren, Cody Waln and wife Amanda, Tylar Waln, Sophia Waln; one great granddaughter; Alicen Jones; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 12:30PM-until service time, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM at the funeral home with burial to follow at Turkey Creek Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.
