Kathy J. Boydston, 65, of Springfield passed away May 30, 2024. Kathy was born in Gastonia, NC on July 29, 1958. In 1979 Kathy and Rex Boydston were united in marriage and shared over 45 years together.

Kathy loved collecting antiques, fishing, mushroom hunting, and fast cars. The beach was her happy place and she loved to play in the dirt. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Kathy was an organ donor and her liver saved a 73 year old man.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeff Boydston; and brother, Jeff Campbell.

Kathy is survived by husband, Rex Boydston; daughter, Jillian Boydston; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Riley Cavin, other family and friends.
