Keith "Gene" Hudson, 96, of Aldrich, passed away, on Friday, May 17, 2019.

Gene the son of Louis and Eula (Burnham) Hudson, was born in Popular Bluff, MO on April 24, 1923. On October 26, 1941, Gene and Eula "Chris" Crook were united in marriage and shared over 77 years together.

Gene faithfully served in the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. After his time in the service he went to work for Culligan Water Softener, retiring after 31 years, as the plant manager. After retirement, Gene and his family moved to the Aldrich area. They loved the area and were active in the Eudora Baptist Church, where Gene served as a deacon since 1981. Gene enjoyed farming and his 1941 John Deere Tractor. Gene will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Oscar Hudson.

Gene is survived by his wife, Chris Hudson; sons; Douglas Hudson and wife Carol of ID, Charles Hudson and wife Renee of Walnut Grove; 5 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Doris Sena; other family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 10:00AM until service at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM at Walnut Grove funeral home, with burial to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Aldrich, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Gene's name to Pleasant Ridge Cemetery or Eudora Baptist Church and may be left at the funeral home.
