KD Holton, son of John and Pernia Holton, was born near Willard, MO on December 3, 1933. He departed this life on September 13, 2016. At the time of death, he was 82 years, 9 months, and 10 days.

KD was reared on his parents' family farm 4 miles north of Willard. He was united in marriage to Peggy Lou Campbell on April 4, 1958 at Stockton, MO. To this union was born three sons, John David Holton, Mark Alan Holton, and Paul Edward Holton.

KD accepted Jesus Christ into his life and was baptized into Rose Hill Baptist Church as a young teen. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Walnut Grove, at the time of his passing.
KD was employed by Syntex Industries for 32 years, retiring in 1987. After which, he lived on his farm in Walnut Grove, enjoying his horses, his acreage, his shop, and his hobbies. Most of all, he enjoyed his family.

KD is survived by Peggy, his wife of 58 years; his three sons, John Holton of Billings, MO, Mark Holton and wife Becky of Lebanon, MO, Paul Holton and wife Christine of Walnut Grove, MO; his brother, Delbert Holton and his wife Genie and two sons; brother-in-law, Larry Campbell and wife Mary Ellen and three children; two sister-in-laws, Donna Clark and three children, and Brandi Campbell and two sons; six grandchildren, Angela and husband Ryan Podolsky, Rachel Holton, Amanda Barnhart and son, Katelynn Pebworth and two children; great-granddaughter Chrystal Hart and three children; and a host of other relatives and friends.

KD was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pernia Holton; sister, Maxine and brother-in-law, Densel Perryman; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law John T and Faral Campbell; brother-in-law Gary John and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Walnut Grove. Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday night at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations in KD's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
