Kiersten Trantham, 11, of Walnut Grove, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019.

Kiersten, the daughter of Cari Trantham, was born on September 27, 2007.

Kiersten was a 6th grader at Bois D'Arc Elementary. She enjoyed spending time with her classmates. Kiersten also enjoyed singing, swimming, and playing games. She was an advocate for people and for animals. Kiersten volunteered at the Polk County Humane Society and loved to visit pet stores to play with the animals, she especially loved the snakes. At home, she liked to feed her special cows and donkey. Kiersten was funny and quick witted. She loved to laugh but she especially enjoyed making others laugh. She had a servant's heart and giving to others was as natural as breathing. Kiersten's time on earth was short, but she touched the lives of so many. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Kiersten is survived by her mother, Cari Trantham; nana, Sonya Trantham both of Walnut Grove; aunt and uncle, Carman and Jason Booker of Blue Springs; great grandmother, Naomi Campbell of Walnut Grove; several cousins, aunts, uncles, other family and many friends.

Kiersten was preceded in death by her papa, Barry Trantham.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11:00AM at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Kiersten's name to Polk County Humane Society of Bolivar and may be left at the funeral home.
