Kim Allan Maggard, 66 of Walnut Grove, MO passed away, Thursday, September 7, 2023. He was born on August 14, 1957, in Springfield, MO, to James W. and Mary E. (Dodd) Maggard.

Kim graduated from Marion C. Early in 1976 and began his career at Kraft Foods. He retired from Kraft Foods after 35 years. Kim loved animals and was called the animal whisperer. He particularly loved cats, dogs, and his cattle. Kim loved being with his family and friends, especially his wife and daughter.

Kim is survived by his wife, Donna Maggard; daughter, Amanda Maggard; father, James W. Maggard; sister, Valvalia "Val" Thater and husband Gary; nephew, Ryan Thater; niece, Kayla Robison; great nieces, Harper and Casey; cousins, other family, and many friends.

Kim was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Maggard.

Visitation will be 3:00PM-5:00PM, Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Humane Society or St. Jude's Hospital and may be left at the funeral home.
