Linda Dale (Melton) Bean 62, of Walnut Grove, passed away August 14, 2025. She was born on September 10, 1962, in Springfield, MO to Dale and Donna (Glenn) Melton.

Linda was onery and kept her family on their toes. She enjoyed going to garage sales, sitting on her porch, and was a hard worker. Most of all, Linda loved her grandchildren, and even her grandpups, making cakes for both on occasion. She will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Jessica Fortner and husband Bobby; daughter-in-law, Kim Bean; grandchildren, Gavin Fortner and Anna, Mackenna Fortner; siblings, Karen Melton, David Melton and wife Beth; beloved dog, Frank; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Donna Melton; son, Willie Bean; and sister, Beth Chainey.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time, Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Memorial services will begin at 2:00PM, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Walnut Grove High School Baseball and may be left with the funeral home.
