Lisa Kay Curbow, age 60, died peacefully in her home in Nixa, MO on May 27, 2022. She was a 1980 Walnut Grove graduate and still to this day would cheer on her lady tiger basketball team. Lisa married the love of her life, Alex Curbow, on March 15th, 1985. Her number one passion and calling in life was raising her two wonderful boys, Brandon and Travis. Lisa (Gingy) lived for her grandbabies Gentry Lee Curbow and Everlee Sierra Curbow. She could not wait to meet the newest member of the family, Colbie Kay-Lynn Collins Curbow.

She was passionate about her home, she loved planting flowers, and tending to her garden. Even mowing her yard, that Alex had better not mess up! Lisa enjoyed cruises and loved to travel with her family. She cherished her last trip with Alex to South Dakota and Wyoming. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, her home was her sanctuary.

Lisa is preceded in death by her father Marvin Huckaby and step-mother Karen Huckaby. She is survived by her husband Alex, their sons and daughter-in-laws Brandon and Stephanie Curbow and Travis and Aubrey Curbow, her grandchildren; Gentry, Everlee, and Colbie, who is on the way, her mother Helen Huckaby and brother Marlin Huckaby.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday, May 31st at the Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home in Ash Grove. The funeral will be at 10 am, Wednesday, June 1st, at Riverdale Baptist Church in Nixa, MO officiated by Jamie Bilyeu.
