Lori A. Minor, 46, of Ash Grove passed away, on Friday, October 26, 2018.

Lori the daughter of Lynn and Judy (Marlin) Minor, was born in Marshfield, MO, on March 17, 1972. Lori and Cathy Owen were united in marriage on January 10, 2017.

Lori was a graduate of Drury University and Burge Nursing School. She was a member of Kappa Delta and in the Jazz Band while at Drury. Lori was a nursing instructor at OTC for the last 10 years and the co-owner of Whistle Stop Pizza. She had also worked with SWMO Traffic and Safety, where she was a liaison, working with a grant through the State of Missouri and Springfield Police Department. Lori put her many talents to good use and it was her passion to help people and keep them safe. The outdoors is where one could find Lori when she wasn't at work. She loved camping, riding wave runners, and going to the lake. Her love for jazz continued throughout her life. Lori's love for helping and teaching will continue to touch countless people for many, many years to come.

Lori was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Lori is survived by her wife, Cathy Owen of Ash Grove; parents, Lynn and Judy Minor of Marshfield; sister, Amy Salka and husband Dwayne of Springfield; brother, Troy Minor and wife Rodawn of Kansas City; Aunt Janet and husband Don; father and mother-in-law, Carl and June Owen; 2 brother-in-laws, Douglas Owen and wife Peggy, David Owen and wife Michelle; 2 sister-in-laws, Carla Morales and husband Irving, Christy Miller and Justin Riedle; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 3:00PM-5:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO. Graveside services will be Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:00PM, at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.
