Louis "Jr." F. Smith Jr., 65, of Morrisville, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018.

Louis, the son of Louis F. and Erma Mae (Corbin) Smith, was born in Springfield, MO, on January 28, 1953.

Jr. was very active in local civic organizations. He was a member of American Legion in Bolivar; Masonic Lodge in Bolivar and Wheatland, where he was the past Worshipful Master; and Springfield Abou Ben Adhem, where he was a member of the clowns. Jr. also loved to fish, play golf, and go gambling. Above all, Jr., loved his family and the time he was able to spend with them. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Jr. is survived by his sons, Kelly Smith of Willard, Brad Smith of Morrisville; 6 grandchildren, Tiffany Ketel and husband Luke, Trent Smith, Dakota Smith, Chassity Smith, Kate Smith, Ava Smith; brothers and sisters, Darlene Smith, Lee Smith, Pearlena Hamlet and husband Roger, Sharlene Simpson and husband Norman; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Jr. was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 11:00AM until service time at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO. Funeral services will begin at 1:00PM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Willard, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Springfield Abou Ben Adhem Clown Unit and may be left at the funeral home.
