Obituary

Luetta Moore's life journey ended on November 12, 2025 at the Willard Care Center, Willard, MO at the age of 96.

Luetta was born on January 26, 1929 to Orpha and Wiley Underwood at home in Dade County. She was a healthy baby coming into the world at 11lbs. She was the middle of five children.

She went to school through the 8th grade at Pleasant Hill country school. She sang in the choir and dreamed of becoming a singer with a big band. Luetta was also a member of the school's Harmonica Band. She went to High School at both Everton and Ash Grove High Schools, graduating from Everton High School.

After High School she lived in Ash Grove and worked at the local feed store.

In 1949 she married Richard Moore and they shared 66 years together until Richard's passing in 2015. They had four children, Richard (Rick), Randy, Terry and Lisa.

Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Vernon, Delbert and Jerry, her sister, Nancy, sons Rick and Terry, and grandson Timothy Patrick. Surviving are son, Randy and his wife Terry Beth, Terry Lee's surviving wife, Kaye, daughter Lisa, grandchildren Christy, Ryan, Jared, Kayla, Ashley, Erin, Kelsey and Amy. She was blessed to have 12 great grandchildren, Harper, Eli, Lennon, Isaac, Phynn, Loralai, Rayleigh, Pierson, Liam, Landon, Oliver and Titus.

Luetta devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her children, a role she embraced with boundless love and care. She never missed an event, big or small and never forgot a birthday. She was there supporting her kids and grandkids at every ballgame, play, concert and countless school activities.

She had a green thumb, loved flowers and always had a large garden. The bounty of the garden was shared with many friends and family. She worked at the Redbud Greenhouse seasonally for many years.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Ash Grove. Luetta's love, faith, and positivity touched everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to the Missouri Baptist Children's Home. Donations can be left at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, Missouri.
