Lynn L. Wertz, 71, of Walnut Grove, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018.

Lynn, the daughter of William and Lois (Reeling) Mathewson, was born in Spring Valley, IL, on August 15, 1947.

Lynn was an avid wood worker. She created beautiful pieces of art and loved to challenge herself with new ideas. She also spent her time knitting and crocheting and loved to make baby blankets for her friends' new babies and grandbabies. Lynn enjoyed her church and was active when she was able. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.

Lynn is survived by one son, Chris Wertz and his wife, Rhonda, of Huntsville; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Candice Fay and Sandra Boline of Illinois; one nephew, Eric Fay and his wife Yulia of Russia; other family and friends.

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 11:00AM, at First Christian Church, Walnut Grove, MO.
