Margaret A. White, 91, of Ash Grove, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018.

Margaret, the daughter of Claude and Mary Edith (Thompson) Manion, was born in Elwood, MO, on January 5, 1927. Margaret and Eugene White were united in marriage in 1947 and shared over 45 years together, before Eugene's passing in 1992.

Margaret was a lady with many talents. She was a hard worker and a true Irish woman. She was always working hard and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. Margaret and Eugene started the Missouri Fox Trotters Association and loved working with the horses. She also bottle-fed calves, worked in the garden, and mowed the yard. After all her hard day's work she retired and traveled the country. Above all, Margaret loved her family and taking care of them. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Arleen Chastain and husband Jack of Ash Grove; granddaughter, Erin Albertson of AR; great grandson; Jaqsen Davis; caregiver, Katrina York of Springfield; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband; infant daughter, Loretta; son, Louis White; and 7 siblings.

Private family graveside will be held.
