Marie L. Boyd, 70, of Everton, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. She was born on July 30, 1951, in Walnut Shade, Missouri, to Fredrick and Jane (Foote) Sprecher. On February 29, 2004, Marie and Rick Boyd were united in marriage and shared over 18 years together.

Marie was an avid gardener and loved being outdoors in the sunshine. She raised flowers and vegetables in her garden and canned her harvest. Marie also enjoyed reading and playing scrabble. She loved to travel and be near the water. Marie will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.

Marie is survived by her husband, Rick Boyd; daughter, Robin Pool and husband Casey; son, Justin Henderson and wife Misty; stepsons, Jeremy Boyd and wife Stephanie, Chad Boyd; grandchildren, Colten and wife Haley, Taelor, Zack and wife Jessica, Brady and wife Brandi, Jordan and husband Matt, Alex, Jordan James; great grandchildren, Avereigh, Waylen, Lillian, Adalynn, Emilee, Kylen, Logan, Zander, Elliott, Maisyn, Fletcher; siblings, Janet Fowler, Paul Sprecher, Fred Sprecher and Dawn, Duane Sprecher and wife Clarette; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Nina Boyd; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Becky Jerome; many nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Brice Fowler; and nephew, Kohen Fowler.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time, Saturday, March 5, 2022, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM, at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, MO.
