Marilyn S. Dimmitt, 82 of Willard, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020. Marilyn was born May 2, 1938 to Henry and Alberta (Levell) Moudy. On November 4, 1956 Marilyn and Bobby "Bob" Dimmitt were united in marriage and shared over 55 years together, before Bob's passing in 2012.

Marilyn lived in the area most of her life. She enjoyed quilting, playing the organ, and working in her flower gardens.  Marilyn was a longtime member of Hopewell Church where she made many lifelong friends. She loved her family and loved taking care of them anyway that she could.

Marilyn is survived by her sons, Jeff Dimmitt and wife Teri, Justin Dimmitt and wife Donna; grandchildren, Jenny Becerril and husband Erik, Ryan Baxter and wife Ericka, Leslie Chaney and husband Chris, Jared Dimmitt, Kyle Baxter and wife Brandy, Kayla High and husband Austin, Jeremy Dimmitt and wife Tia, Ashley Payne and husband Jeff; 18 great grandchildren; other family and many friends.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Dimmitt and 2 brothers, Charles Moudy and Gordon Moudy.

Visitation will be from 4:00PM-5:00PM, Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Graveside services will be at 2:00PM, Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Sinking Creek Cemetery, Everton, MO. The family request that friends and family wear masks and practice social distancing while at the visitation and graveside.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Ash Grove Sunshine Center or Mt. Vernon's Children's Home and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Ash Grove, MO 65604.
