Marilyn Jane Martin was born March 4, 1933 in Maple Grove, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Vesta Kindle Hoffman. She passed away August 6, 2019 at the age of 86 years, at home in Ash Grove, Missouri surrounded by loving members of her family.

She grew up in Fort Seneca, Ohio. She was later joined in marriage to Kenneth Martin on February 27, 1965 in Monroe, Michigan.

They made their home in Michigan for 29 years and then moved to Ash Grove, Missouri in 1995. Since moving to Ash Grove, they joined Ash Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death are parents, Robert and Vesta Hoffman; husband, Kenneth; and her sister, Beverly and husband Randy Swickard.
Marilyn is survived by 3 children, Debra Davey (Byron) of Belding, Michigan, Chris Kelley (Gaynell) of Celebration, Florida, and Rhonda Bowman (Jeff) of Ash Grove, Missouri; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Meredith Hoffman; one halfbrother, Bobby Hoffman; two nephews and one niece.

Private family services were held, 11:00AM, Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove, MO.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Faith Hospice and may be left at the funeral home.
