Marvin Edward Huckaby, the son of Lowell and Beulah (Bohannon), was born February 20, 1940 and passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017.

Marvin was a life-long resident of Walnut Grove and attended the Cowboy Church. Marvin enjoyed being outdoors, whether for work or play.  He worked hard at farming and being a contractor, but he enjoyed finding time to fish, pheasant hunt, and travel.  Marvin enjoyed the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Marvin is survived by one daughter, Lisa Curbow and husband Alex, of Nixa; one son, Marlin Huckaby, of Walnut Grove; 4 grandchildren, Brandon Curbow and wife Stephanie, Travis Curbow and fiancé Aubrey, Justin Huckaby and wife Savannah, and Summer Huckaby; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Annie Albert, Deloris Johnson and husband Jerry, Lois Townsend and husband Larry; one brother, Robert Huckaby and wife Paula; several other family members, and many friends.

Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Karen; one brother; and two sisters.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 2:00PM-4:00PM at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO.  Graveside Services will be Monday, January 30, 2017 at 2:00PM, at Rose Hill Cemetery, Willard, MO.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and may be left at the funeral home.
