Mary Jane "Janie" Burton, 62, of Lamar, passed away, on Thursday, May 2, 2019.

Mary Jane the daughter of Vester A. and Mildred G. (Harris) Burton, was born in Carthage, MO on July 14, 1956.

Mary Jane enjoyed crocheting, being outdoors and raising flowers. She also made wonderful cinnamon rolls and sugar cookies and enjoyed sharing them with her loved ones. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Dale Burton, Donald Gene Burton; brother-in-law, Edward (Ed) Osburn.

Mary Jane is survived by 3 sisters, Wanda Stump and husband Jerry of Springfield, Helen Osburn, Lois Duncan and husband Darrell (DD) all of Lamar; 3 brothers, Carl Burton and wife Jean of Carthage, Wayne Burton and wife Michell of Stockton, Rick Burton and wife Debbie of LaRussell; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Pennsboro Cemetery, South Greenfield, MO.
