Mary Sue Cover, 61 of Ash Grove, MO passed peacefully surrounded by her family, Thursday, September 7, 2023, at her mother's home in Willard, MO. She was born on August 20, 1962, in Toms River, NJ, to Johnnie and Janet (Parker) White.

Mary loved gardening, flying kites, and traveling with her husband Joe. She also enjoyed singing in the church choir. Mary was a fighter until the end. She will be remembered for her loving and caring soul, her quick wit, and her beautiful smile.

Mary is survived by her mother, Janet White; children, Eric Nelson, Elijah Olson and wife Felicia; grandchildren, Stephen Nelson, Randallyn Nelson; sister, Anita Alexander; brother, John White; cousin, Carol Spragg; friend, Jason Nichols; other family and many friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cover; father, Johnnie White; sister, Sebrina Parker; niece, Christina Parker; and aunt, Georgia "Cookie".

Visitation will be 10:00AM until service time, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Willard Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will begin at 11:00AM, at the church, with burial to follow at Wesley Cemetery, Willard, MO.
