Mary L. Mead, 59 of Everton, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024. Mary was born June 11, 1964, to Robert "Mac" and Juila (Glenn) McKenney in Clarksville, Tennessee. On January 9, 1981, Mary and Ronnie Mead were united in marriage and shared over 18 years together, before Ronnie's passing in 1999.

Mary is a long-time area resident. She graduated from SMSU in 1997 and began her career as a probation and parole officer. She retired in March of 2022 after serving for over 25 years. Mary loved music, books, concerts, comic-cons, and going on short adventures. She also loved all things Sci-Fi. Above all, Mary adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Mary is survived by her children, Tina Stacey and husband Cody, Donnie Mead and wife Candice, Jason Mead, Mark Mead and wife Shae McCloud; grandchildren, Caleb, Chase, Allie, Gaige, Gunner, Harleigh, William, Jett, Tucker; mother, Juila McKenny; sisters, Bobbie Lilly, Keri Letson; nieces, nephews; other family and many friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Mead and father, Robert "Mac" McKenney.

Graveside services will be 1:00PM, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO.
