Mary Evelyn Presley Scott Six, 92 of Willard passed away Wednesday, May 15th surrounded by family.

Evelyn was born on August 23, 1931 near the Morrisville area to Clay and Louise (Doke) Presley. She graduated from Marion C. Early Schools in 1949. Enjoying many reunions with her classmates. Mary Evelyn and Sammie Scott were united in marriage on July 22, 1950. They were privileged to share 56 years. To this union was born one son, David. Later in life she married Roy Six, of Walnut Grove until his passing.

She was an active member of the Rose Hill Baptist Church. During her lifetime she was employed at Marion C. Early Schools as an aide and Harry Cooper Supply where she retired in 1983. Mary Evelyn's greatest joy was being a homemaker on their family farm. Many know her for her abundant garden and dedication to her family.

She was survived by son David Scott and his wife Robin of Willard.; three grandchildren Ryan Scott and wife, Billie. Joshua Scott and wife, Jessica. Rachael Sawyer and husband, Kyle.; Nine great-grandchildren, Lucas Jones, Clay, Rylie and Jace Scott, Lillie and Kaydance Scott and Jolie, Cooper and Hattie Sawyer. One sister Phyllis Owens and sister-in-law Connie Presley and many dear cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents Clay and Louise (Doke) Presley; husband Sammie Scott and Roy Six; brother Wayne Presley and brother-in-law Lowell Owens.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time, Monday, May 20, 2024 at Rose Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM, at the church, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
