Mary Frances (Blackwell) Stockstill, 93, Springfield, MO,  passed away at home on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022.

She was born on May 9, 1929, to Frank and Minnie (Wilson) Blackwell. She graduated from Willard High School and attended Draughn's Business College.  She was employed by Thompson Sales and then Rush and Fugate Livestock Commission Companies.   Mary married Ralph Stockstill, Jr. on March 6, 1948.  They enjoyed 56 years of marriage before his death in 2004.

Mary loved God, her family, and attending church.  Being with family, canning, quilting, traveling, fishing and visiting with friends were among her favorite things to do.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookline and a member of Rachel Donelson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph; daughter Janet Dye; her brothers' Harry and Louis Blackwell.

She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Crighton and husband Jim; Son in law Larry Dye; grandsons Todd and Brad Crighton(wife Courtney); Shawn and Brian Dye(wife Kara); great grandchildren Taylor and Logan Crighton; Jack, Luke and Allie Crighton; Gavin and Jovie Dye; Niece Jean Ann Miller; and nephew Alan Blackwell; Grandnieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from noon until service time, Monday, October 3, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Brookline. Funeral services will begin at 2:00PM, at the church, with burial to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield, MO.
