Mary Alice (Waterman) Hicks, 89 of Walnut Grove, Mo. passed away on Saturday evening at 5:30 p.m. in Citizens Memorial Health Care Facility, Bolivar, Mo.

Mary Alice, the daughter of Avery and Mary Edith (Hicks) Waterman, was born December 7, 1925, near Collins, Missouri. She was a homemaker and member of the Guy's Chapel Fundamental Methodist Church.

Mary Alice Waterman and Leroy Hicks were united in marriage January 2, 1946. To this union eight children were born. Together they were privileged to share 51 years of marraige. Leroy preceded her in death on October 14, 1997. Also preceding her were her parents, infant daughter Jeannie Hicks, two sons: John and Terry Hicks; three
brothers: Wayne, Charles and June Waterman and sister, Faye.

She is survived by five children\: sons, Bobby and wife Freda Hicks, Jimmy and Dianna Hicks all of Walnut Grove, Mo.; daughter, Pam and
husband Roscoe Harris of Bolivar, Mo.; sons, Raymond and wife Charity Hicks of Walnut Grove, Mo. and Gail Hicks of Bolivar, Mo.; 13 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren; brother, Jim Waterman and sister-in-law, Edie Waterman both of Collins, Mo.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. in Wilson Brim Daniel Funeral Home, Walnut Grove with Revs. Jeff Jellerson and Rick Guy officiating. Interment following in Rose Hill Cemetery, north of Willard, Mo.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
