Maxamus "Max" Gideon 17, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021.

Maxamus loved anime, computers, music, and video games. He wanted to be a video game maker. Maxamus was an all-around great kid. He was always there for his family and neighbors and always giving, either in time or money. He was wise beyond his years and brought joy to anyone around him. Maxamus was a big teddy bear and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

Maxamus is survived by his parents, Melissa and Brandon Lambeth; siblings, Skyla Dennis, Winter Dennis, Brandon Lambeth, Crystal Cryderman, Landon Lambeth; biological father, Jason Gideon and wife Sabrina; grandparents, Debbie Hucker, David Dennis; emotional support dog; Mika; other family and many friends.

Maxamus was preceded in death by his brother, Devon Gideon and grandparents, Lester and Judith Gideon.

Visitation will be from 12:30PM-1:30PM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove. Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Aldrich, MO.

The family requests that all visitors wear masks.
