Mildred L. Johnson, 84, of Ash Grove, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020.

Mildred, the daughter of Jimmy and Ruby (Hackworth) Fletcher, was born in Stewart, OK, on September 19, 1935. On December 24, 1953, Mildred and Stanley Johnson were united in marriage, they shared over 54 years together, before Stanley's passing in 2008.

Mildred was a hard working farmer's wife. She volunteered her time at the Ash Grove Sunshine Center and Ash Grove Healthcare Auxiliary. Mildred was active in her church and WMU. She loved going to garage sales and swap meets. Above all, Mildred loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Mildred is survived by her children, Sharon Foreman and husband Steve of Ash Grove, Susan Ryan and husband Victor of AR; grandchildren, Tracy Crawford and husband Wayne, Tonya Watson and husband Zachary; great grandchildren, Caitlyn Crawford, Breanna Watson, Laine Watson; sisters, Donna Bennett and husband David of SD, Linda Dowler of Ash Grove; brother, Paul Fletcher of Ash Grove; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Wiley Hagerman; husband, Stanley; brothers, Jim Ray Fletcher, and Gerald Fletcher.

Graveside services will be 2:00PM, Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Johns Chapel Cemetery, Ash Grove, MO. Graveside services are open to the public, but please follow the COVID-19 guidelines of social distancing.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Mildred's name to Center Baptist Church and can be left or mailed to the funeral home, PO Box 217, Ash Grove, MO 65604.
