Missie (Blakemore) Wehner, 51, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri after a sudden illness.

Missie was born April 14, 1969 to Frank E. and Vickie Blakemore. She grew up in Walnut Grove, Missouri with her parents and brother Chris. She had many fond memories of her childhood in Walnut Grove and enjoyed telling stories about all of these memories to her family and friends.

Missie was the Valedictorian of the Walnut Grove High School class of 1987 and she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Drury University in 1991 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Missie worked as a CPA. She was passionate about and successful in her job field. She enjoyed her work and enjoyed opportunities to grow her knowledge in the field.

Missie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to movies, reading new books, and spending time in nature. She treasured her family and the time she spent with them all.

Missie is survived by parents Frank E. and Vickie Blakemore of Walnut Grove, MO; brother, Chris Blakemore and wife Tammy of Ozark, MO; son, Cody Blakemore and wife Sarah; grandson, Frankie Blakemore all of Willard, MO; daughter, Paige Wehner of the home; aunt, Paula Gray and husband Mike; uncle, David Blakemore; aunt, Karen Garrison and husband Harold, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other family and friends who she adored.

Missie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul "Bud" and Betty Blakemore, Fred and Mickey McVay, uncle, Mike McVay, and aunt Inez Wollard.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Isabel's House and may be left at the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Walnut Grove, MO. Graveside services will be 1:00PM, Thursday, October 8, 2020 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO. The family requests to practice social distancing and ask that visitors wear a mask during visitation.
