Montie Ann Hale, 78, of Springfield, MO passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016. She was born on January 30, 1938 in Garrison, MO, the daughter of Olen "Spud" and Mary Stevens.

Montie was mutli-talented. She enjoyed quilt making, painting, cake decorating, and cooking. Her family especially enjoyed her amazing hot rolls. She never met a stranger and was friendly to everyone she came across.

Montie is survived by children, Billy D. Hale, Patricia M. Wattle and husband James, Marvin E. Hale all of Springfield, MO, Mary L. Moore of Everton, MO, Jeffrey S. Hale and wife Sherry and Jason S. Hale and wife Crystal all of Republic, MO; twenty-five grandchildren; fifty-six great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Stevens and Mary Mckellips both of Springfield, MO; and numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marvin F. Hale; one daughter, Diana S. Robinson; one granddaughter, Carla Baker; one brother and three sisters.

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 18, 2016 at Garrison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00PM, July 17, 2016 in the Wilson-Brim-Daniel Funeral Home, Ash Grove. A memorial has been established and may be left at the funeral home.
