Nancy Goodwyn of Willard (72) passed away peacefully on Monday, March 21, 2022, after a long journey with Alzheimer's. She was born on September 18, 1949, in Omaha, NB, to John and Ellen (Christensen) Wray. On February 5, 1972, Nancy and Bob Goodwyn were united in marriage. They shared over 47 years together, growing in love for one another until Bob's passing in 2019.

Nancy was a homemaker in every possible way. She was committed to taking care of her children and her husband Bob. She was the 'best cook around,' and loved to host and have family and friends in her home. Nancy also loved music, especially singing. Above all, Nancy loved Jesus and His light shone through her.

Nancy is survived by daughter, Sherri Goodwyn of MN; her children, Hannah and Sarah Palmgren; son, Justin Goodwyn and wife Jill of Willard; their children, Emma, Jonah; son, Grady Goodwyn and wife Kelley of Willard; their children, Isaiah, Josiah, Eli, Gideon, Jonathan, Joseph; daughter, Wendy Beard and husband Scott of NM; their children, Euell, Jamin, Elim, Jaren; son, Tyler Goodwyn and wife Anna of Willard; their children, Eva, Ellen, Grant, Evolette, Jett, Brex; siblings, Joan, Tom, Peggy, Mike; other family and many friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob; sisters, Gloria and Mary.

Graveside services will be Friday, March 25, 2022, at 2:30 PM, at Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield, MO. The family will greet friends and share memories of Nancy at Clear Creek Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 3:00PM-5:00PM after the graveside.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Nancy's name to The Alzheimer's Association, Greater Missouri Chapter and may be left or mailed to the funeral home, PO BOX 217, Ash Grove, MO 65604.
